Declaration of accessibility
Schwäbische Alb Tourismusverband e. V. strives to make its website accessible in accordance with the State Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities Act (L-BGG) and the Regulation for the Enforcement of the Act (L-BGG-DVO), as well as according to BFSG and BFSGV. This accessibility statement applies to the domain: https://www.schwaebischealb.de/.
Status of compatibility with the requirements
This website is partially compliant with L-BGG and L-BGG-DVO, as well as according to BFSG and BFSGV due to the following incompatibilities or exceptions.
Our products and services can be found, accessed and used by people with disabilities in the usual way, without particular difficulty and generally without outside help.
Description of the service
Accommodation directory with bookable lodgings.
Non-accessible content
The following content is not accessible because it is not compatible with the underlying harmonized standard EN 301 549:
- There are SVG images without labelling on a page. Navigation with screen readers to the SVG images is difficult.
- On many pages there are images without captions. It is difficult to navigate to the images with screen readers.
- There are links without link text on all pages.
- On all pages, the contrast between text and background is too low.
- There is a page without a title.
- On single pages there are 'iframe' elements without labelling. Navigation with screen readers to the iframes is difficult.
- A page has no language stored in HTML.
- There are form fields without a label on single pages. It is difficult to navigate to the form fields with screen readers.
- On several pages there are buttons without labelling. It is difficult to navigate to the buttons with screen readers.
- On all pages there are headings that have no caption or contain the aria-hidden attribute and are therefore not accessible to screen readers.
- On all pages, the meta viewport prevents zooming. Deactivating the zoom makes page content more difficult to read for people with visual impairments.
- There are invalid aria attribute values on single pages. These are not recognized by screen readers and are therefore not output correctly.
- On single pages, a parent element lacks the appropriate child elements. This can confuse screen reader users because content is expected but none is there.
- On single pages there are elements with the Aria-hidden attribute that can be focused at the same time. This makes these elements accessible to assistive technologies, even though they should be hidden.
- There are interactive elements on a page whose name is not part of the labeling. This makes it difficult to control the website using voice control.
- There are elements on single pages that are assigned to a role but do not contain the attributes required for it. These elements may not be output correctly by screen readers according to their role.
- On single pages, description lists are structured incorrectly. As a result, description explanations and description headings are not displayed correctly and are not output correctly by assistive technologies.
