Breweries

Beer has a long tradition in the Swabian Alb. Up until today, there are many family run breweries.

As it is everyhwere in Germany, the Alb brewers may also use just four ingredients - no more. Apart from hops and malt, these are water and yeast. This is how the German Beer Purity Law, which has been in existence for more than 500 years, prescribes it.

But this doesn't hinder brewers from creating various types of beer, leaving their own fingerprints on each. We're guaranteeing you: Wherever you'll go in the Swabian Alb, your beer will taste different, but always delicious. Prost!
