Flaedle soup

Being at a Swabian wedding can often lead to being presented a Flaedle soup (literally "thin pancake soup" in local dialect) as traditional first course of wedding meals.

Flaedle soup is a soup made from a beef broth with strips of pancake and is usually garnished with chives.

Made too many pancakes? Not really possible. But if there are some leftovers, the Flaedle soup is the solution. Until you want to cook the soup even without the thought of using leftovers.
