What applies on the day of arrival/departure?

Concerning the entrance to places of interest applies:

The AlbCard is valid during the whole duration of stay as well as on the day of arrival OR the day of departure. In case you use the benefits on the day of your arrival, the card will be blocked on the day of your departure.

In public transport applies:

The card is valid from your arrival at your accomodation, during the whole duration of your stay and on the entire day of departure. The AlbCard can be used for your journey back in the range of validity.

Yes, kids get their own AlbCard when they are 6 years and older.

The arrangement is:

• kids from 0 to 5 don't receive an AlbCard (they can enter the places of interest and activities without charge if they can use the service and are accompanied by an adult who has an AlbCard)
• kids from 6 to 15 years old receive an AlbCard for teens
• from 16 years old they get an AlbCard for adults

You can visit every attraction or use every service once per stay, for example the canoeing tour in the "Oberes Donautal", a visit to the Lichtenstein castle, a visit to the hot springs or a visit to the Limes museum. It is possible to make use of several services on the same date.

You can take your bicycle with you free of charge with the AlbCard. 
Beyond the rush hour in the morning it is possible to take your bicycle with you without charge on most of the railway tracks in Baden-Wurttemberg, so monday till friday before 6 o'clock and from 9 o'clock as well as on the weekends and holidays.

Nothing! Ask right away for the AlbCard at your arrival in your accommodation. This will be issued to you WITHOUT CHARGE by the host. The AlbCard is a present from the participating hosts to the vacationer.

No, that's not possible! Guests that stay the night at one of over 150 AlbCard hosts get the AlbCard free of charge for their entire stay!

The card is not transferable. Every guest gets their personal AlbCard.
